We are seeking an experienced Product Owner/Manager to lead Digital Health initiatives for enterprise healthcare clients. This position sits at the intersection of product strategy, healthcare operations, and software delivery. You will work directly with clients and cross-functional delivery teams to identify needs, establish priorities, and guide solutions from early discovery through implementation and continued improvement.
System integration is an important part of the role. Candidates should be comfortable working with products that exchange information with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and other healthcare applications. Experience with a particular EHR vendor is not required, but you should understand interoperability, APIs, healthcare data exchange, and the practical challenges of introducing technology into established clinical and operational environments.
Keep in mind we are a Consulting company and this is a Consulting position. The position requires sound product judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to bring structure and direction to complex cross-functional initiatives. You are not just a Program Owner/Manager, you are a Consultant. You are someone who can bring a team-oriented attitude to the program and apply your expertise to manage cross-functional priorities.
What You Will Do
You will be responsible for establishing product direction and helping teams turn that direction into successful software. Key responsibilities include:
Develop product strategies, roadmaps, priorities, and release plans based on client objectives and user needs.
Lead discovery activities, including stakeholder interviews, workshops, requirements analysis, and user journey mapping.
Define product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, MVP scope, and supporting documentation.
Evaluate product decisions against customer value, business priorities, technical constraints, and healthcare requirements.
Work with clinical, operational, and technology stakeholders to understand existing workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.
Define requirements for integrations with EHR platforms, healthcare applications, APIs, and related data services.
Help establish and document integration workflows, data exchanges, API usage, and expected system behaviors.
Partner closely with engineering, design, QA, and implementation teams throughout development and delivery.
Provide product guidance to development teams, resolve questions, and address risks, dependencies, and competing priorities.
Validate delivered functionality with users and stakeholders and use feedback, testing, and product data to guide subsequent improvements.
Coordinate with client and market teams to ensure individual initiatives support broader product and go-to-market objectives.
Serve as a knowledgeable client partner who can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
What We Are Looking For
Candidates should have 7+ years of product management experience, ideally involving healthcare, digital health, enterprise software, or other complex technology environments.
You should also bring:
Experience leading products or major product initiatives from discovery through development, launch, and iteration.
Practical experience with EHR integrations, healthcare systems, or healthcare interoperability.
Familiarity with APIs, application integrations, and data exchange between enterprise systems.
An understanding of healthcare workflows, healthcare data, or technology used by healthcare organizations.
Experience working directly with software engineering and UX teams.
Strong requirements definition, prioritization, and product documentation skills.
Experience with Agile software development practices.
Confidence facilitating discussions with clients, executives, subject matter experts, and technical teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to work independently, make decisions with incomplete information, and adapt as client priorities evolve.
Experience with healthcare SaaS products, clinical or patient data, enterprise healthcare organizations, or professional services is especially valuable. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, or related Microsoft technologies is also beneficial but not required.
